So I need something to believe
'Cause I am living just to breathe
And I need something more
To keep on breathing for
So give me something to believe

Officially Summer

I've actually had a great first week of summer! I started it off with a trip to Hilton Head, SC. Best place to get tan... but let me offer a few words of advice. If you're going to lay out in the sun, don't wear bermuda shorts while doing it. I laid out while watching my sister in the HH campground's pool, and was stupid enough to wear bermuda shorts. Now, I've got major tan lines... lol, what do you know?

Once we got back and settled into a normal routine again, I cleaned out my room. As in, going thorugh old clothes, your closet, under the bed, and all of the many junk-filled drawers in my room. (And if this tells you how bad it got... I had WORLD Magazines from January of 2005!) Now, it's clean... finally. And maybe my sister will take a hint and do the same for her room, which qualifies as a disaster area.

I ended the week on Friday. I babysat an adorable 2-year-old yesterday, and earned $15 (which is weird, because I only babysay for 2 hours, but I'm definately not complaining.) I came home and chilled for a while, then went to my friend David's party. It was awesome, and I found out that I can't play volleyball, but have a fabulous talent for ping-pong... so, yeah.

And finally, this weekend happens to be huge, as in, mega-size. 3 words- NASCAR in Charlotte. I've been to the track in Charlotte, NC; and let me tell you, it's one of the fastest on the circut. Craftsman Trucks are racing there Saturday afternoon, which I don't plan on watching. However, the Nationwide Series kicks off from the start line Saturday night! Charlotte is a 1 1/2 mile track, which my driver (Carl Edwards #99) happens to be fabulous at. He had a killer car last week in the All-Star Challenge, but faded quickly after the 4th segment. Hopefully Roush will fix the crappy engines that he put in those cars, and replace them with something good.

And good luck to Danica Patrick, go out there and kick everyone's butts... especially all the guys.

School is.. OVER

After what seems like years, which turns out to only be a few weeks, I am finally done with school. I finished my final exams today, and I know that I'll pass every class. I've got 3 months of vacation to do whatever I want!

Hopefully, my little sister's softball team goes on to state championships again this summer. Oh, and I hope that they win. ;)

My youth group's summer retreat got cancelled for the summer, but we've still got a Braves game planned for the end of June. I can't wait! Everyone thinks that it's going to be the Tigers vs. the Braves for the World Series Championship this year, and as long as the Braves win, I'll be happy. (Well duh, what were you expecting?)

I'm also interning for the Citizen, which is a local newspaper. I start soon, hopefully. With any luck, I'll get to do the article on the Stingers' SC State Championship!

Booya

Hey ya'll!

First of all, welcome to the month of May. It's my first post of the month... maybe I'll have more than four posts this time.

Second of all, my Mom and I are playing softball for my church. We had a game last night (Thursday, May 1), and you won't believe what I did. First of all, I got to play the full game. Our coach has been taking me out in about the 2nd inning, which also means that I don't get to bat as often. Lol, after last night, I wonder if that's going to happen again.

Anyway, I went 4-4 last night! For all of you who have no clue what I'm talking about, I'll explain it to you. The first number means how many times that I hit the ball. The second number means how many opportunities I had to hit the ball. So, it means that I hit the ball four times in four opportunities.

Well, that's all for now. I've got cleaning to do, then we're going up to our local strawberry place. For all of you who don't have strawberries yet, HAHA! I'll eat some for you...
